PHOTOSHOOT FOR A BIG FOOD BRAND

We have been in the studio shooting with Sue Atkinson for a new total rebrand of a big UK based food supplier.

Sue has been involved in shoots for Marks & Spencer, Colmans, Krispy Kreme and Kraft before so we are pleased to be working with her.

The new packaging range designed by us is due out in supermarkets later in the year.

DESIGN HAPPY CREATES WE LOVE POPCORN PACKAGING RANGE

Design Happy has created a new range of popcorn packaging for the innovative new start-up snack company, We Love Popcorn.

We were approached to produce packaging for their new range of healthy popcorns, aimed primarily at the premium snack market. In recent years the category has seen an increase in a varying degree of new flavours as consumers seek a healthier alternative to fried snacks and candies.

Having taken inspiration from black and white silent movie graphics, we created a brand with an emphasis on rich flavour. The design is aimed primarily at the ‘snack conscious’ (but loving) female market, but also does not overtly alienate the male consumer with the rich tones of colour.

The new range includes Cinnamon & Brown Sugar, Mocha and Cocoa, Lemon & Poppy Seed and Orange & Mocha flavours.

The range fully launches in the Autumn.

DESIGN HAPPY WINS THREE WAY CREATIVE PITCH

We are happy to be chosen to work on a major rebrand of one of the largest food suppliers in the United Kingdom and Europe. Design Happy were invited to pitch for the project in December 2011, competing with 2 other agencies. We will show you all more once the work on the huge range has been completed. DESIGN HAPPY CREATES LOFTSCOPE BRAND IDENTITY

We were asked to create a brand for loft extension specialists Loftscope. They wanted to have an approachable feel to combat any negative pre-conceptions people may have about builders.

We created a shiny new brand with a simple and friendly feel. The use of the house icon as an ‘up arrow’ (to suggest loft space) is a lovely little gift. This was combined with an organic mnemonic to reinforce a commitment to the environment. The result blew Loftscope away and dispelled all pre-conceptions at the same time by bringing their brand right up to date.

The brief was to create an identity for White cap ski, a holding company for a portfolio of Ski accommodation across Europe.

We created a contemporary, ownable marque featuring an abstract mountain slope. The identity was adaptable across the various aspects of their business including equipment hire and travel services

Chatsworth Care provide residential, supported living and domiciliary care services to people requiring specialist assistance.

We took the supportive nature of Chatsworth Care and created a friendly, modern and calming brand based around the concept of supporting the future ‘Every step of the way’. The same thinking was then applied to the design of the website whichincorporated a ‘hover over’ symbol system to enable residents to navigate the pages with ease.

DESIGN HAPPY CREATES HOLLANDS EYE CARE PROMOTION

We designed a ‘Free Eye Test for All’ mail campaign for Hollands Opticians to send to potential customers. This needed to be a simple but ‘eye’ catching design (excuse the pun).

Having a bit of an ‘eye’ (maybe don’t use the pun twice?) for design, we went on to produce a lovely set of promotional items for Hollands Family Eye Care by taking inspiration from the classic eye test charts.

DESIGN HAPPY CREATES URBAN DE-STRESS SPA BRAND IDENTITY

Urban destress asked us to create a brochure that conveyed the modern and calming nature of the spa setting, whilst simplifying and explaining the numerous treatments on offer.

We incorporated lots of textures and printed on an uncoated paper to reflect the soothing, tactile and relaxing properties of the treatments.
